About the position

The Data Support Analyst role within the Global Data Analytics Team at Bloomberg focuses on providing exceptional customer service to both internal and external clients. The position involves leveraging problem-solving skills and project management abilities to enhance client experience and improve team workflows. Analysts will work closely with various stakeholders to address data-related inquiries and implement strategic solutions, ensuring timely and accurate support for Bloomberg's data clients.

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional customer service to Bloomberg clients via the Help Desk (ADSK).
• Educate and inform clients using customer service skills and subject matter expertise.
• Enhance customer operational performance by utilizing Help Desk resources.
• Seek out opportunities for self-improvement through new product training and process knowledge.
• Make independent decisions to resolve customer issues using strong problem-solving skills.
• Build and maintain relationships with key internal and external stakeholders.

Requirements

• 1+ years of customer service experience.
• Professional experience or coursework in finance, business, or data analytics.
• Demonstrable ability to build and maintain client relationships.
• Superb communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to lead and take ownership over projects.
• Effective research and analysis skills with attention to detail.
• Ability to multi-task and work under pressure in a frequently changing environment.
• Demonstrated interest in the financial markets and desire to learn in a dynamic training and client-facing environment.
• Outstanding interpersonal skills (both written and verbal) to articulate thought-process.
• Legal authorization to work full-time in the United States without requiring visa sponsorship.

Nice-to-haves

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite & Google Drive.
• Experience analyzing data, particularly with tools such as QlikSense or BQNT.
