About the position

The Data Systems Manager at Trenton Health Team (THT) is responsible for developing and maintaining the organization's data systems, including the Trenton Health Information Exchange and the Nonprofit Cloud Salesforce platform. This role involves collaborating with internal teams and external partners to understand data needs, develop solutions, and ensure that THT operates as a data-driven organization focused on community impact. The position also includes managing day-to-day operations, ensuring compliance, and maintaining relationships with technology vendors.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain THT's data systems including the Trenton Health Information Exchange and Salesforce platform.
• Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to gather data needs and provide database solutions.
• Create data integration solutions to enhance community information exchange capabilities.
• Lead database-related projects and manage project teams.
• Provide timely support to users for optimal experience and respond to support tickets.
• Train end-users in effective database system usage, including data entry and reporting.
• Conduct regular audits of data systems to ensure compliance with policies and procedures.
• Develop and implement data retention and archiving policies.
• Communicate with technology vendors and partner organizations.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree
• 5+ years of relevant experience in data systems management
• Experience administering and configuring Salesforce.

Nice-to-haves

• Current Salesforce Administrator certification
• Experience with Health Information Exchange (HIE) or Electronic Health Records (EHR)
• Experience in a community-based organization
• Healthcare experience in Population Health Improvement activities
• Familiarity with design thinking concepts
