About the position

The Data Technician is responsible for accurate and timely data entry into automated client information systems, ensuring data integrity and supporting the Quality Management Department. This role involves collaboration with various departments and requires independent judgment to manage a diversified workload effectively.

Responsibilities

  • Collects and verifies information pertinent to clients served.
  • Runs daily, weekly, and monthly reports in FSFN, Mind Share, and My JumpVault.
  • Reviews exception reports and other data management reports and initiates corrective actions as required.
  • Produces monthly grant reports for the Family Connections Program.
  • Provides data clinics at CMA's for FSFN data/exception cleanup.
  • Maintains contact with field staff to provide technical support and help maintain data integrity.
  • Works closely with other departments, especially placements and financial staff, to ensure that all information relevant to payments and placements is accurate and current.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • High School diploma or equivalent.
  • One year of data entry experience.
  • Ability to successfully clear a Level II Background Screen as required by Florida Statute and DCF.
  • Possess a valid Florida driver's license and be insurable by the agency's current insurance carrier.

Nice-to-haves

  • Six Sigma Yellow Belt Certification preferred.
  • Above average working knowledge or the drive to quickly learn automated systems such as FSFN, Excel, Mind Share, My JumpVault, Power BI Desktop and Service.
