About the position

The Data Tester will play a crucial role in driving data-driven insights and decision-making within the organization. This position requires strong analytical skills, proficiency in data management tools, and the ability to work independently. The successful candidate will focus on utilizing advanced technologies to enhance data processes and ensure effective data analysis and reporting.

Responsibilities

• Leverage Data Bricks for collaborative data engineering and analysis, enhancing workflow efficiency and productivity.
• Optimize data processing workflows to ensure scalability and performance across data projects.
• Utilize Azure Data Factory (ADF) to design and implement efficient data pipelines for the ingestion and transformation of large datasets.
• Ensure data quality and integrity through effective monitoring and validation processes.
• Conduct in-depth data analysis using SQL, PySpark, and Python to extract actionable insights and support organizational objectives.
• Prepare clear and concise reports that communicate analytical findings to stakeholders, facilitating informed decision-making.
• Create interactive visualizations to enhance data comprehension and drive engagement.
• Partner with cross-functional teams to identify data needs and provide expert analytical support.
• Engage in knowledge-sharing activities to promote best practices in data analysis and management.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, or a related field; Master's degree preferred.
• Strong proficiency in SQL for data querying and manipulation.
• Experience with Azure Data Factory (ADF) for data integration and pipeline management.
• Proficient in Data Bricks, PySpark, and Python for data processing and analysis.
• Excellent problem-solving skills with a strong attention to detail.
• Effective communication skills, with the ability to translate complex data insights into clear recommendations.
• Proven ability to work independently in a fast-paced, multicultural environment.
• Previous experience in a data analysis role, particularly within an international or development-focused organization.
• Familiarity with data visualization tools (e.g. Tableau, Power BI) is a plus.
• Understanding of data governance and best practices in data management.
