About the position

The Data Visualization Analyst/Sr. Analyst role at Georgia-Pacific focuses on supporting the GP Consumer Products Divisions by translating business needs into data and visualization requirements. This hybrid position involves working with various stakeholders to design, develop, and maintain business intelligence applications, ensuring effective communication and project management throughout the process.

Responsibilities

• Translate business requirements into BI solutions.
• Manage IT development projects by bridging the gap between technical and business processes.
• Develop and maintain detailed documentation of the BI solutions.
• Proactively communicate new and innovative ideas and solutions to advance the organization.
• Create ad-hoc queries to provide information requested by business users.
• Drive the prioritization of work based on greatest value in an agile development environment.
• Act as the day-to-day business owner of existing business intelligence applications.
• Establish and manage timelines, project priorities, and handle multiple concurrent projects.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree or additional relevant work experience in Business Intelligence.
• Experience in analytics, reporting, or similar business functions related to Business Intelligence.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience using business intelligence tools such as Tableau, Power BI, Qlik Sense.
• Experience with data structures such as SAP EHANA, AWS Redshift.
• Experience utilizing Alteryx or a similar application for ETL processes.
• Experience utilizing SQL to navigate large enterprise data stores.
