About the position

Goldbelt Professional Services is seeking a Data Visualization Analyst with web development skills to manage various projects for a contract client. This role involves data collection, analysis, and the creation of interactive dashboards to communicate insights effectively. The analyst will work closely with the Program Manager and will be responsible for coordinating tasks and completing administrative duties in a hybrid work environment.

Responsibilities

  • Collect, process, and analyze large datasets from various sources, ensuring data quality and integrity.
  • Apply statistical techniques to interpret data, identify trends, and generate insights that support decision-making processes.
  • Develop predictive models using machine learning algorithms to forecast outcomes and optimize business strategies.
  • Design and implement interactive dashboards and visualizations to communicate complex data insights effectively.
  • Translate data findings into actionable insights and present them to stakeholders in a clear and compelling manner.
  • Use tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or similar platforms to create and maintain visual data representations.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, develop, and maintain web applications that integrate with data systems.
  • Implement responsive user interfaces using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript frameworks.
  • Develop back-end services and APIs to support web application functionality and data access.
  • Monitor and optimize the performance of web applications to ensure seamless user experiences.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Public Health Administration, Computer Science, Data Science, Statistics, or related field.
  • Minimum 2+ years' experience in Project Support.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in data visualization and analysis, preferably in the health sector.
  • Experience with web development, including front-end and back-end technologies.
  • Proficiency in Python, R, SQL, JSON, D3, JavaScript, Tableau, Power BI, HTML, React, Angular.

Nice-to-haves

  • Previous experience with federal government agencies; preferably with CDC.
