About the position

The Data Visualization and Reporting Analyst at Springfield College is responsible for creating tailored reporting solutions and conducting needs assessments across various departments. This role requires collaboration with functional users and programmers to enhance data literacy and governance while utilizing Evisions Argos and SQL to develop reports and dashboards that support the College's mission.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate closely with various academic and administrative departments to perform in-depth needs assessments and craft tailor-made reporting solutions.
• Utilize Evisions Argos Enterprise Reporting tool and SQL to create data blocks for report generation based on the Ellucian Banner system.
• Scale Evisions Argos and Ellucian Insights platforms by building advanced dashboards and reports to improve performance and enhance student outcomes.
• Participate in system integration tasks, identifying necessary data and building required files.
• Lead initiatives aimed at enhancing data literacy, upholding data governance standards, and providing training on report and dashboard development to key stakeholders.

Requirements

• Associate's degree required with 3-5 years of work-related experience; Bachelor's degree preferred.
• Proven experience as a Reporting Analyst, preferably in a higher education setting.
• Extensive experience with Ellucian Banner ERP or another Higher Education ERP.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience working in a higher education setting is preferred.
• Experience with Ellucian Banner, Argos, or Raisers Edge required.
