About the position
The IT Data Visualization Architect at Zenith Services will be responsible for creating visualizations and dashboards that cater to various divisions within the agency, serving both statewide and internal partners. This role involves requirements gathering, data modeling, visualization design, and training on-site staff in visualization tools. The position emphasizes collaboration with stakeholders to ensure alignment with business objectives and adherence to project deadlines.
Responsibilities
- Design and develop data-driven applications and dashboards in Tableau or Power BI.
- Conduct thorough data validation to maintain accuracy and consistency.
- Align agency infrastructure with industry best practices.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to align requirements with business objectives.
- Meet project deadlines and requirements while working independently.
- Other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree and 5 years of relevant work experience.
- 3 or more years of experience in data visualization tools.
- Experience in Oracle products preferred (Oracle19c, RDBMS, PL/SQL procedures).
- Proficiency with Data migration, Data Modeling, and ETL.
- Experience with O365 applications, particularly Microsoft Excel.
- Excellent communication skills - written and verbal.
- Experience in government financial management.
