About the position

The Data Visualization Developer at Volunteers of America Ohio & Indiana is responsible for creating dashboards and reports that transform data into visual information to address business questions. This role involves collaborating with both business and technical teams to ensure alignment between business needs and technological solutions. The developer will also document business requirements and provide analytic support through data extraction and interpretation.

Responsibilities

• Build dashboards and reports to visualize data for business insights.
• Identify and research business needs to determine appropriate solutions.
• Collaborate with business and technical teams to ensure integration of business needs and technology.
• Create detailed Business Requirement Documents (BRD) and translate them into functional specifications.
• Coordinate data extraction from various databases and provide data interpretation.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
• Mid-level experience in business systems analysis, data analysis, or data design.
• Proven experience developing advanced Power BI dashboards, reports, and visualizations.

Nice-to-haves
