About the position

LG Ad Solutions is seeking a highly skilled and experienced individual to join our team as the Data Visualization Manager. This full-time position is based in Denver, CO, and is integral to our mission of delivering state-of-the-art advertising solutions that integrate seamlessly with today's ever-evolving digital media landscape. The Data Visualization Manager will be responsible for leading a team of Data Visualization professionals to develop and manage data-driven solutions that optimize advertising performance, inform strategic decisions, and drive business growth. This role involves overseeing the creation of data models, dashboards, and reports, as well as guiding data analysis efforts to extract actionable insights. In this position, the BI Manager will work closely with cross-functional teams, including Ad Operations, Product, Marketing, and Data Engineering, to ensure that data is leveraged effectively across the organization. The successful candidate will define and implement the BI strategy in alignment with the company's overall business goals and objectives, collaborating with senior leadership to identify key business questions and data needs, and translating them into actionable BI projects. The role requires ensuring the timely delivery of high-quality BI solutions, including data models, dashboards, reports, and analyses. The Data Visualization Manager will also oversee the design and development of scalable data models and ETL processes to support reporting and analytics needs across the AdTech ecosystem. This includes ensuring data accuracy, consistency, and reliability by establishing and enforcing data governance standards. The manager will lead the creation and maintenance of dashboards and reports that track key performance indicators (KPIs) such as ad spend, return on ad spend (ROAS), click-through rates (CTR), and other critical metrics. Additionally, the role involves driving the use of advanced analytics techniques, including predictive modeling and machine learning, to uncover deeper insights and optimize advertising performance. Continuous improvement and innovation are key aspects of this role, as the manager will stay current with the latest BI tools, technologies, and industry trends, implementing best practices to enhance the organization's BI capabilities. The Data Visualization Manager will foster a culture of innovation within the BI team, encouraging the exploration of new methods and technologies to drive business value.

Responsibilities

  • Lead, mentor, and develop a team of analysts and data visualization engineers, fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement.
  • Define and implement the BI strategy in alignment with the company's overall business goals and objectives.
  • Collaborate with senior leadership to identify key business questions and data needs, translating them into actionable BI projects.
  • Oversee the design and development of scalable data models and ETL processes to support reporting and analytics needs across the AdTech ecosystem.
  • Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and reliability by establishing and enforcing data governance standards.
  • Lead the creation and maintenance of dashboards and reports that track key performance indicators (KPIs) such as ad spend, return on ad spend (ROAS), click-through rates (CTR), and other critical metrics.
  • Drive the use of advanced analytics techniques, including predictive modeling and machine learning, to uncover deeper insights and optimize advertising performance.
  • Work closely with Ad Operations, Product, Marketing, Sales, and Finance teams to understand their data needs and deliver tailored BI solutions.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for data-related inquiries and ensure that insights are effectively communicated to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Stay current with the latest BI tools, technologies, and industry trends, implementing best practices to enhance the organization's BI capabilities.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Business Analytics, or a related field.
  • A Master's degree or MBA is preferred.
  • 5-7+ years of experience in Business Intelligence, Data Analytics, or Data Engineering, with at least 3 years in a management or leadership role, preferably within the AdTech industry.
  • Proven track record of leading BI projects from inception to completion, including the design and implementation of data models, ETL processes, and reporting solutions.
  • Strong experience with BI tools such as Tableau, Power BI, Looker, or similar platforms.
  • Advanced SQL skills and experience with data warehousing solutions.
  • Familiarity with AdTech metrics, digital advertising platforms, and related data sources (e.g., Google Ad Manager, The Trade Desk).
  • Excellent leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and develop a high-performing BI team.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a focus on delivering actionable insights that drive business outcomes.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to convey complex data concepts to non-technical stakeholders.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience with scripting languages like Python or R for data analysis and automation.
  • Knowledge of machine learning models and predictive analytics in the context of advertising.
  • Experience working with real-time data streaming and monitoring tools.
  • Familiarity with cloud platforms like AWS, Google Cloud, or Azure.
  • Hands-on experience working with Databricks.
