About the position

The Data Visualization Specialist will design and implement data conceptualization strategies to meet the expectations of the Department of Technology, Management and Budget (DTMB) and its 23 agency procurement offices. This role involves importing complex data, analyzing it, and creating dashboards and reports to provide management with a clear understanding of data. The specialist will develop complex visualizations and relational data models to identify correlations, serve as a technical advisor for procurement business requirements, and participate in special projects and presentations.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement data conceptualization strategies and techniques.
• Import complex data from various systems and analyze it.
• Create dashboards and reports for management.
• Develop complex visualizations of program performance and efficiency.
• Build complex relational data models to identify correlations between data elements.
• Serve as a technical advisor for procurement business requirements gathering.
• Participate in special projects and conduct presentations.
• Work with peers and management to resolve program-related issues.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in any major.
• Four years of professional experience, including two years at the experienced (P11) level or one year at the advanced (12) level.
