About the position
The Data Visualization Specialist will focus on creating impactful and visually appealing dashboards and client reports to help clients understand their data and make informed decisions. This role is essential for translating complex data into actionable insights, utilizing tools like Tableau and SQL, and collaborating with various teams to meet reporting needs.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain Tableau dashboards for internal and client use.
- Connect Tableau with Google BigQuery for efficient data retrieval and visualization.
- Customize and maintain templated client reports, ensuring data accuracy and consistent branding.
- Collaborate with marketing and data teams to understand reporting requirements and provide actionable insights.
- Optimize and streamline dashboard performance and data extraction processes.
- Stay updated with Tableau and data visualization trends to enhance dashboard effectiveness.
Requirements
- 2+ years of experience in data visualization, preferably with Tableau.
- Knowledge of marketing metrics and analytics, with experience analyzing and interpreting marketing data.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and work with cross-functional teams.
- Strong communication skills to convey complex data insights.
Nice-to-haves
- Proficiency in SQL, with experience connecting and querying cloud-based databases like AWS and Google BigQuery.
