About the position

The Data Visualization Specialist is responsible for developing, implementing, and supporting the usage of a data visualization toolkit. This role involves applying functional knowledge and industry expertise to create solutions for various data-related challenges. The specialist will work independently with some guidance and may oversee the activities of junior employees.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement data visualization solutions using various business intelligence tools.
• Support the usage and configuration of the data visualization toolkit.
• Contribute to solving problems of moderate scope and complexity in data visualization.
• Review and guide the activities of junior employees as needed.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience with business intelligence tools such as Tableau, MicroStrategy, Qlikview, Power BI, Cognos, or Business Objects.
• Knowledge of information design principles and data visualization methods.
• Understanding of logical and physical data modeling concepts, including hands-on development of attributes, facts, dimensions, transformations, and dashboards.
• Knowledge of database development and administration processes and software.
• Ability to obtain a Secret clearance.
• Bachelor's degree.
