About the position

The Data Visualization Specialist at Data Systems Analysts, Inc. will be part of the Enterprise Services Group Business Unit, focusing on developing and delivering data visualization solutions using Power BI, Power Apps, and Power Automate for government customers, particularly in support of the Army. This role emphasizes collaboration within a team to provide cohesive support and offers opportunities for professional development and career growth.

Responsibilities

• Support development and delivery of data visualizations and Power Apps in support of HR team requirements
• Develop and deliver Power Apps and Power Automate solutions in accordance with customer requirements
• Direct engagement with customers to define project requirements and manage customer expectations
• Data model development
• Stakeholder communications including formal and informal presentations
• Develop data visualization solutions
• Define and communicate technical project plans, roadmaps, and schedules
• Creation of dashboards/Business Intelligence (BI) solutions based on key performance indicators and customer requirements
• Acquire and manage Power BI Premium Capacity workspaces
• Develop and share training and reference materials

Requirements

• Highly Proficient in Power Apps development
• Highly Proficient in SharePoint Online (SPO)
• Highly Proficient in Power Automate
• Experience with Army 365 (A365) or Microsoft Office 365
• Proficient in data modeling
• Proficient in data visualization design
• Proficient in data security concepts
• Solid understanding of requirements gathering and analysis
• Required Certifications: COMPTIA SEC+; Related computing environment certification (EX: Microsoft Power Platform 100, 200, or 400)

Nice-to-haves

• Awareness of Army or Department of Defense (DoD) Human Resources (HR) systems and processes
• General understanding of Microsoft Access
• Experience with Army Vantage
• Proficiency with Dataverse
