About the position

The Data Warehouse and Business Intelligence Engineer - State and Local role focuses on designing modern data architectures for transformation at the enterprise level, specifically for State and Local government clients. This position involves utilizing advanced cloud architectural principles and tools such as Snowflake and Databricks to develop analytics products and apply statistical programming to enhance mission outcomes within cloud environments.

Responsibilities

• Design future-state, modern data architecture for enterprise-level transformation.
• Utilize tools such as Snowflake and Databricks for data modernization efforts.
• Develop advanced analytics products and apply data programming tools to enterprise data.
• Support all phases of analytic work product development, from data collection to delivering insights.
• Collaborate with clients to uncover hidden relationships in data and solve complex business problems.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Biomedical Science, Computer Science, Mathematics, Engineering, or a business-related field.
• 5+ years of experience in data modernization and/or AI modernization in State and Local government.
• 5+ years of experience with MS SQL Server, ETL tools, and SAP BODS.
• 5+ years of experience using data visualization tools, preferably Tableau.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a Government Security Clearance.
• Legally authorized to work in the United States without employer sponsorship.

Nice-to-haves

• Strong technical comprehension.
• 5+ years of relevant consulting experience supporting state and local clients.
• Experience with Google Cloud Platform.
• Demonstrated ability to write clearly and succinctly for a wide audience.
