About the position

ITnova is seeking a Data Warehouse Architect with extensive experience in designing and developing database and data warehouse systems, both on-premises and in the cloud. The role requires strong technical skills in SQL Server and Azure, along with expertise in ETL processes and data governance. The ideal candidate will collaborate across the organization, ensuring data integrity and effective communication.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop database and data warehouse systems both on-premises and in the cloud.
• Build end-to-end data warehouse and analytical systems using SQL Server products and Power BI.
• Maintain complex Data Warehouse models to ensure data integrity.
• Develop, enhance, and administer ETL functions in support of Cognos TM1 and Cognos BI frameworks.
• Develop data platforms using Azure SQL database, Azure Data Factory, and Azure Pipelines.
• Implement data governance, data management, data modeling, and data cleansing processes.
• Write complex T-SQL Queries, Stored Procedures, and Views for database redesign.
• Guide junior database engineers and provide hands-on technical support.

Requirements

• Minimum 12 years of relevant experience in architecting, designing, and developing databases or data warehouse systems.
• Strong skills in SQL Server and Azure.
• Experience with ETL processes and data governance.
• Proficient in SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS), SSAS, and SSRS.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
• Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, or related fields.

Nice-to-haves

• Knowledge or experience with Cognos BI environment or other business intelligence tools such as Power BI or Tableau.
