About the position

The Data Warehouse Architect will play a key role in the design, development, and management of scalable and efficient data solutions. This position requires strong experience in data engineering and data warehouse architecture, particularly with Snowflake, and involves collaboration with cross-functional teams to meet business and technical requirements. The role also includes integrating SAP data into broader analytics initiatives and is eligible for hybrid work.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain robust, scalable data warehouse solutions using Snowflake.
• Define data warehouse architecture and standards, ensuring alignment with business and technical requirements.
• Design and implement ETL/ELT processes for effective data ingestion and transformation.
• Design, implement, and optimize data pipelines to ensure efficient and reliable data processing.
• Maintain and enhance data models to meet evolving analytical needs.
• Apply best practices for cost management, performance tuning, query optimization, and data warehouse scalability.
• Work closely with business users and data consumers to understand their needs, translating them into effective data solutions.
• Collaborate with BI teams to deliver advanced reporting and analytics solutions.
• Leverage advanced Snowflake features to build high-performance and cost-effective data warehousing solutions.
• Integrate SAP data with other data sources for comprehensive enterprise analytics.
• Create and maintain detailed documentation, including architecture diagrams, data flow mappings, and technical specifications.
• Ensure compliance with data governance and security standards.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field.
• 5+ years of experience in data architecture, data engineering, or data warehousing roles.
• Strong hands-on experience with Snowflake data warehouse.
• Proven track record of designing and implementing scalable data warehouse solutions.
• Proficiency in SQL, Python, or other relevant programming languages.
• Experience with data integration, ETL/ELT tools, and data pipeline design.
• Familiarity with key business processes in manufacturing and supply chain systems like SAP.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience with BI tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau) and data visualization.
• Familiarity with SAP HANA, BW, or ECC data sources.
• Experience working in Agile or DevOps environments.
