About the position

The Data Warehouse Developer role involves designing, developing, and administering both transactional and analytical data structures. The position focuses on utilizing SAS and SQL for data extraction, manipulation, and reporting, while also supporting data quality and organization efforts within a SaaS startup environment.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop transactional and analytical data constructs and structures.
• Utilize SAS to extract data from Teradata and other relational databases for analysis.
• Create SAS scripts and write SQL queries based on input from analytics and development teams.
• Create SAS data sets by extracting data from Teradata, SQL Server, and flat files using various SAS procedures.
• Involved in dashboarding, visualization, analysis, and Tableau reporting.
• Move data between production systems and across multiple platforms.
• Work with major querying tools and support data quality, organization, metadata, and data profiling.
• Provide technical support on data warehouse teams and assist in developing costing reports and profitability information.

Requirements

• Master's degree in a relevant field such as computer science, engineering, or management information systems.
• 2 years of experience in data warehousing or related fields.
• Strong logical reasoning, problem-solving, and analytical skills.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience with dashboarding and visualization tools like Tableau.
• Familiarity with data quality and profiling techniques.
