About the position

The Data Warehouse/ETL/BI/API Developer role is focused on optimizing, developing, and maintaining integration solutions for data warehousing and business intelligence. This position requires expertise in ETL processes, data analytics, and API development, with a strong emphasis on ensuring data quality and performance. The role is hybrid, requiring one day a week onsite in Mechanicsburg, PA, and is intended for local candidates only.

Responsibilities

• Optimize, develop, and maintain integration solutions using SQL Server SSIS and ETL Framework BIDS.
• Develop, maintain, and optimize all efforts related to Data Warehouse SSIS, stored procedures, views, etc.
• Create data warehouse components using best practices methodologies.
• Build and maintain documentation of the data and how it is moved through layers.
• Perform data conversion from OLTP to DW using tools like SSIS/Data Factory.
• Identify and analyze data discrepancies and data quality issues to ensure data consistency and integrity.
• Ensure stabilization and high performance of existing ETL processes.
• Troubleshoot complex data-related issues and provide support to production.
• Develop and deploy ETL job workflows with reliable error/exception handling and rollback.
• Work with SSRS and Power BI, with additional experience in Crystal Reports being beneficial.
• Engage in API development and may be involved with manual testing.

Requirements

• 4 year college degree or equivalent technical study with advanced study, Required
• ETL experience (Including SSIS or other ETL tools), Required 6 Years
• Data Analytics experience, Required 6 Years
• Data Warehouse knowledge and experience, Required 6 Years
• MS SQL Reporting Server (SSRS), Required 4 Years
• Power BI, Required 3 Years
• Web API development experience, Required 3 Years

Nice-to-haves

• Experience with Crystal Reports is beneficial.
• Power BI experience is preferred.
• API Development experience is preferred.
