About the position

The Data Warehouse Snowflake Developer role is focused on leveraging extensive experience in data warehousing and cloud technologies, particularly Snowflake, to design and implement data solutions. The position requires strong analytical and problem-solving skills, along with the ability to translate business processes into data requirements and vice versa. The developer will work closely with project teams to ensure effective communication and coordination of deliverables, while applying knowledge of DevOps and Agile methodologies to enhance data-centric architectures.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate critical thinking and analytical skills to resolve problems.
• Translate data requirements into business processes and reverse engineer business processes into data requirements.
• Apply comprehension of DevOps and Agile development to data-centric architecture and solutions.
• Engage in basic project management and business process modeling.
• Communicate effectively and coordinate work activities within project teams.
• Promote ideas and plan deliverables within a project team.

Requirements

• Minimum 10 years of experience in data warehousing and related fields.
• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
• Competency in Oracle, SQL Server Database, SAP HANA, and enterprise reporting tools like Tableau.
• Hands-on knowledge with Snowflake is preferred.
• Expertise in SQL Querying/Scripting (SQL DDL, DQL, DML, DCL).
• Experience with Native HANA, SQL, or PL/SQL is required.
• In-depth knowledge of debugging and troubleshooting on native HANA.
• Ability to analyze results and build solutions for understanding and conclusions.

Nice-to-haves

• Certification in Snowflake or at least 6 months of runtime in Snowflake projects.
• Hands-on experience with large-scale Data-warehouse Migration to AWS/Azure Cloud.
• Experience with Native Cloud Databases.
• Hands-on Architect experience on Snowflake DB and development experience on Snowsql/Snowpipe.
