About the position

The Data Warehouse Snowflake Developer role focuses on leveraging critical thinking and analytical skills to translate data requirements into business processes and vice versa. The position requires a strong understanding of DevOps and Agile methodologies, along with project management skills to effectively coordinate work activities and deliverables within a project team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with Snowflake and other database technologies, contributing to data-centric architecture and solutions.

Responsibilities

• Translate data requirements into business processes and reverse engineer business processes into data requirements.
• Demonstrate critical thinking and analytical skills to resolve problems.
• Apply DevOps and Agile development principles to data-centric architecture.
• Engage in basic project management and business process modeling.
• Promote ideas and coordinate work activities within a project team.

Requirements

• Minimum bachelor's degree in engineering technology, Computer Science, or a related field with equivalent experience.
• Competency in Oracle, SQL Server Database, SAP HANA, and enterprise reporting tools (e.g., Tableau).
• Hands-on knowledge with Snowflake (preferred).
• Expertise in SQL Querying/Scripting (SQL DDL, DQL, DML, DCL).
• Experience in Native HANA, SQL or PL/SQL is required.
• In-depth knowledge of debugging and troubleshooting skills on native HANA.
• Ability to analyze results and build solutions for proper understanding and conclusions.

Nice-to-haves

• Certification in Snowflake or at least 6 months runtime in Snowflake projects.
• Hands-on experience on at least one large scale Data-warehouse Migration to AWS/Azure Cloud.
• Knowledge of products like SAP HANA with preference for SAP HANA XSA data modeling awareness.
