About the position

The Data Web Application Developer position at CVS Health is focused on leveraging cutting-edge technologies to analyze large datasets and generate analytical insights that support health and wellness strategies. This role is part of the Analytics & Behavior Change team, which aims to enhance access to high-quality, affordable care through innovative data solutions. The developer will be responsible for building and deploying data web applications, optimizing application performance, and ensuring data quality, all while collaborating with cross-functional teams to drive impactful solutions.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop data web applications using Python for new analytics capabilities and content using healthcare data.
• Create business applications to deliver analytic solutions in a self-service manner using Plotly Dash Enterprise.
• Drive enterprise modernization opportunities leveraging Python and cloud-native technologies.
• Communicate analytical findings to key stakeholders in an understandable and actionable way.
• Develop data structures and pipelines to organize, collect, and standardize data for insights and reporting needs.
• Effectively resolve problems and roadblocks as they occur.
• Work with large datasets from multiple data sources.

Requirements

• 1+ years of relevant data web application development experience.
• 1+ year of experience with Python.
• 1+ year of SQL query development experience in a data warehouse environment.
• 1+ year of experience using Dash or Streamlit to build interactive web applications.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience with front-end development (e.g., REACT, HTML, CSS).
• Experience with cloud computing providers (GCP, Azure).
