About the position

The Data Web Application Developer at CVS Health is responsible for designing and developing data web applications that leverage cutting-edge technologies to analyze large datasets and generate actionable insights. This role is part of the Analytics & Behavior Change team, focusing on enhancing healthcare delivery through innovative data solutions. The developer will work collaboratively within a cross-functional team to optimize application performance, build data pipelines, and ensure quality assurance, ultimately contributing to improved provider engagement and consumer experience.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop data web applications using Python for new analytics capabilities and content using healthcare data.
• Create business applications to deliver analytic solutions to constituents in a self-service manner using Plotly Dash Enterprise.
• Drive enterprise modernization opportunities leveraging Python and cloud-native technologies.
• Communicate analytical findings to key stakeholders in an understandable and actionable way.
• Develop data structures and pipelines to organize, collect, and standardize data for insights and reporting needs.
• Resolve problems and roadblocks effectively as they occur.

Requirements

• 1+ years of relevant data web application development experience.
• 1+ year of experience with Python.
• 1+ year of SQL query development experience in a data warehouse environment.
• 1+ year of experience using Dash or Streamlit to build interactive web applications.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience with front-end development, e.g., REACT, HTML, CSS.
• Experience with cloud computing providers (GCP, Azure).
• Critical thinking and analytical skills, attention to detail, and excellent time management.
