About the position

The Data Web Application Developer at CVS Health will be part of the Analytics & Behavior Change team, focusing on building analytics, data, and technology platforms to enhance healthcare delivery. This role involves developing data web applications using Python and tools like Dash or Streamlit, optimizing application performance, and generating insights from large datasets to inform provider networks and engagement strategies. The position emphasizes collaboration within a cross-functional team to drive impactful solutions in healthcare.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop data web applications using Python for new analytics capabilities and content using healthcare data.
• Create business applications to deliver analytic solutions to constituents in a self-service fashion using Plotly Dash Enterprise.
• Drive forward enterprise modernization opportunities leveraging Python and cloud-native technologies.
• Communicate analytical findings to key stakeholders in an understandable and actionable manner.
• Develop data structures and pipelines to organize, collect, and standardize data for insights and reporting needs.
• Effectively resolve problems and roadblocks as they occur.

Requirements

• 1+ years of relevant data web application development experience.
• 1+ year Python experience.
• 1+ year SQL query development experience in a data warehouse environment.
• 1+ year experience using Dash or Streamlit to build interactive web applications.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience with front end development, e.g., REACT, HTML, CSS.
• Experience with cloud computing providers (GCP, Azure).
• Critical thinking and analytical skills, attention to detail, and excellent time management.
