About the position

The Data Web Application Developer will be part of CVS Health's Analytics & Behavior Change team, focusing on building and deploying data web applications that leverage cutting-edge technologies to analyze large datasets. This role is crucial for developing analytics capabilities that enhance provider engagement and improve consumer experiences in healthcare. The developer will work collaboratively within a cross-functional team to deliver impactful solutions that support individualized health and wellness journeys for members.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop data web applications using Python for new analytics capabilities and content using healthcare data.
• Create business applications to deliver analytic solutions to constituents in a self-service fashion using Plotly Dash Enterprise.
• Drive forward enterprise modernization opportunities leveraging Python and cloud-native technologies.
• Communicate analytical findings to key stakeholders in an understandable and actionable manner.
• Develop data structures and pipelines to organize, collect, and standardize data for insights and reporting needs.
• Effectively resolve problems and roadblocks as they occur.

Requirements

• 1+ years of relevant data web application development experience.
• 1+ year Python experience.
• 1+ year SQL query development experience in a data warehouse environment.
• 1+ year experience using Dash or Streamlit to build interactive web applications.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience with front end development, e.g., REACT, HTML, CSS.
• Experience with cloud computing providers (GCP, Azure).
• Critical thinking and analytical skills, attention to detail, and excellent time management.
