About the position

The Data Web Application Developer position at CVS Health is focused on leveraging cutting-edge technologies to analyze large datasets and generate analytical insights that support provider networks and member engagement strategies. This role is part of the Analytics & Behavior Change team, which aims to enhance health care accessibility and quality through innovative data solutions. The developer will be responsible for building and deploying data web applications, optimizing application performance, and ensuring data integrity through quality assurance checks.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop data web applications using Python code for new analytics capabilities and content using healthcare data.
• Create business applications to deliver analytic solutions to constituents in a self-service fashion using Plotly Dash Enterprise.
• Drive forward enterprise modernization opportunities leveraging Python and cloud-native technologies.
• Communicate analytical findings to key stakeholders in a way that is easy to understand and actionable.
• Develop data structures and pipelines to organize, collect and standardize data that helps generate insights and addresses reporting needs.
• Effectively resolve problems and roadblocks as they occur.
• Work with large data sets from multiple data sources.

Requirements

• 1+ years of relevant data web application development experience.
• 1+ year Python experience.
• 1+ year SQL query development experience, working in a data warehouse environment.
• 1+ year experience using Dash or Streamlit to build interactive web applications.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience with front end development, e.g., REACT, HTML, CSS.
• Experience with cloud computing providers (GCP, Azure).
• Critical thinking and analytical skills, attention to detail and excellent time management.
