About the position

The Database Administrator/Analyst at Adecco plays a crucial role in managing the IDF constituent database by providing leadership, strategy, and innovation. This position requires close collaboration with various departments, including Programs, Administration, and IT, to understand business requirements and technology objectives. The role focuses on architecting, designing, implementing, and continuously improving database quality to meet departmental needs.

Responsibilities

  • Analyze and determine information needs, relationship attributes, data flow, and reporting capabilities.
  • Participate in continuous improvement efforts to enhance performance and functionality.
  • Provide appropriate documentation, cross-training, management, and recommendations.
  • Research, evaluate, and recommend solutions for business goals.
  • Provide database technical expertise and direction for team members and work with external consultants.
  • Support data warehouses and cubes used by other IDF projects and programs.
  • Develop work plans and collaborate on database solutions leveraging both internal and external resources.
  • Prioritize and productively work on multiple projects simultaneously.

Requirements

  • Proven experience as a Database Administrator or Analyst.
  • Strong understanding of database management systems and data warehousing.
  • Ability to analyze and interpret complex data requirements.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience with specific database technologies (e.g., SQL Server, Oracle).
  • Familiarity with data visualization tools.
