About the position

We are looking for high-energy individuals with a positive attitude and a drive to learn new technologies. This person will work with Database Administrators to further our data infrastructure and management practices. They will take part in the following activities: provide database support and implementation for enterprise applications, collaborate with QA and Development teams, implementation of database changes, tracking and resolution of database related incidents, and maintenance of documentation describing processes, procedures, and database models. The Database Administration Analyst I will coordinate and communicate activities related to service disruption in all environments. They will create and document database standards and provide training to ensure compliance. Additionally, they will build and maintain deployment packages for database change scripts, produce and maintain documentation as required, including process maps, data models, training materials, user manuals, and other system documentation. The role also involves reviewing error logs and addressing issues as necessary, participating in ticket resolution activities for database environments and systems, troubleshooting database server service outages as they occur (including after-hours and weekends), and attending meetings related to database maintenance and ETL processes. Other duties may be assigned as needed.

Responsibilities

Requirements

  • Bachelor Degree in a technical field (Professional experience can replace technical requirement, but a 4-year degree is required).
  • High capacity for learning and ability to pick up new concepts quickly.
