About the position

The Database Administration Analyst I position is an entry-level role focused on supporting database management and infrastructure within the organization. The individual will collaborate with Database Administrators and other teams to implement database changes, resolve incidents, and maintain documentation related to database processes and models. This role is ideal for high-energy individuals eager to learn and grow in the field of database technology.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate and communicate activities related to service disruption in all environments.
  • Create and document database standards and provide training to ensure compliance.
  • Build and maintain deployment packages for database change scripts.
  • Produce and maintain documentation as required, including process maps, data models, training materials, and user manuals.
  • Review error logs and address issues as necessary.
  • Participate in ticket resolution activities for database environments and systems.
  • Troubleshoot database server service outages as they occur, including after-hours and weekends.
  • Attend meetings related to database maintenance and ETL processes.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in a technical field or equivalent professional experience.
  • High capacity for learning and ability to pick up new concepts quickly.
  • Service mentality and willingness to help others.
  • Basic understanding of computer concepts and database concepts.
  • Comfortable navigating Windows and using Microsoft Word and Excel.
