About the position

The Database Administrator role is focused on managing and optimizing Oracle databases, ensuring high performance and reliability. The position requires extensive experience in database design, analysis, and performance tuning, as well as a strong understanding of enterprise application development and Agile methodologies. The role is contract-based and is intended for local candidates in Austin, TX.

Responsibilities

• Design and analyze Oracle database structures for optimal performance.
• Create technical and functional design documentation for enterprise applications.
• Participate in the software development lifecycle using Agile methodologies.
• Develop multi-tier applications and services, including SOA and Microservices.

Requirements

• 7+ years of experience in Oracle database design, analysis, and performance tuning.
• 7+ years of experience in Oracle database structures and data analysis.
• 7+ years of experience designing enterprise applications and/or services.
• 7+ years of experience creating technical and functional design documentation.
• 7+ years of experience within the software development lifecycle using Agile methodology.
