About the position

The Intermediate Database Administrator (DBA) at DirectViz Solutions, LLC will support a large Department of Defense (DoD) team at Fort Huachuca, AZ. This role focuses on the ongoing maintenance and documentation of database components that support critical information systems and enterprise end users, ensuring optimal performance and security of the databases.

Responsibilities

• Maintenance and documentation of database components supporting critical information systems and enterprise end users.
• Continual care of the databases to ensure applications and databases operate at peak performance and integrity.
• Applying Security Technical Implementation Guides (STIG's) to track database security compliance and troubleshoot issues.
• Documenting processes for database optimizations, troubleshooting, and new builds.
• Adapting to changing environments and displaying initiative, good judgment, and a positive attitude.
• Performing other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Intermediate experience as a Database Administrator (DBA).
• Knowledge of Security Technical Implementation Guides (STIG's) and database security compliance.
• Strong documentation skills for processes related to database management.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience in a DoD environment.
• Familiarity with enterprise database systems.
