About the position

As a Database Administrator at NavitsPartners, you will play a crucial role in managing and maintaining our database systems to ensure optimal performance and security. Your primary responsibilities will include installing, upgrading, and managing database applications, as well as maintaining database operations and supporting services. You will be tasked with monitoring system performance to identify potential issues and provide guidance for improvements. Additionally, you will perform data backups and ensure that the database can be recovered in the event of a cyber incident, safeguarding our data integrity and availability. In this role, you will also be responsible for protecting the database against threats or unauthorized access, which is critical in today’s security landscape. You will engage in tuning, monitoring, and optimizing queries to enhance database performance. Furthermore, you will conduct database storage and capacity planning to ensure that our systems can handle current and future demands effectively. Your expertise in Dell and/or VMware products will be essential in executing these responsibilities efficiently. This position may require you to travel to client locations on short notice, so flexibility and readiness to adapt to changing circumstances are important. Your contributions will be vital in supporting our clients and ensuring that their database environments are robust and secure.
