About the position

As a Database Administrator at NavitsPartners, you will play a crucial role in managing and maintaining our database applications. Your primary responsibilities will include installing, upgrading, and managing database systems to ensure optimal performance and reliability. You will be tasked with maintaining database operations and supporting services, which involves monitoring system performance to identify potential issues and providing guidance for improvements. Additionally, you will be responsible for performing data backups and ensuring that the database can be recovered in the event of a cyber incident, thereby safeguarding our data integrity and availability. In this role, you will also protect the database against threats or unauthorized access, which is critical in today’s security landscape. You will perform tuning, monitoring, and optimization of queries to enhance database performance. Furthermore, you will engage in database storage and capacity planning to ensure that our systems can handle current and future data needs. Your expertise in Dell and/or VMware products will be essential, as will your incident response experience and background in the security space. This position may require you to travel to client locations on short notice, so flexibility and readiness to adapt to changing circumstances are key attributes for success in this role.
