As a Database Administrator II at IGT, you will play a crucial role in managing the physical database design, maintenance, and support functions across various database platforms. You will also be involved in understanding and implementing database backup and recovery procedures, developing backup scripts, and recommending continuous improvements in database administration practices. The position includes shared on-call responsibilities in a 24/7 operational environment, requiring you to be proactive and responsive to database issues as they arise. Candidates must reside in or near Austin, TX, or Sacramento, CA, and should possess a minimum of 2-4 years of related experience. This role is essential for ensuring that IGT's database systems operate efficiently and effectively, supporting the company's commitment to delivering high-quality gaming experiences.
