About the position

The OSI PI Administrator IV position is a long-term contract role focused on managing and maintaining the OSIsoft PI system, a real-time data infrastructure used in the oil and gas industry. The role requires hands-on experience with various tools and frameworks associated with the PI system, ensuring efficient data collection, analysis, and system performance.

Responsibilities

• Manage and maintain the OSIsoft PI system.
• Configure and troubleshoot the PI system using PSE (PI System Explorer).
• Set up and maintain templates and models using AF (Asset Framework).
• Create and manage analytics functions to process incoming data.
• Perform system administration tasks using PI SMT (System Management Tools).
• Create new PI Points (tags) and edit existing ones for accurate data collection.
• Design and maintain GOM Topside Templates in PI AF.
• Conduct regular health checks and performance maintenance of the PI system.
• Backfill analytics and scripts for data management.

Requirements

• At least 2 years of hands-on experience managing and maintaining the OSIsoft PI system.
• Familiarity with PSE for configuring and troubleshooting the PI system.
• Experience using AF for setting up and maintaining templates and models.
• Ability to create and manage analytics functions for data processing.
• Experience with PI SMT for system administration tasks.
• Experience in creating and editing PI Points for data accuracy.
• Ability to design and maintain GOM Topside Templates in PI AF.
