About the position

Blue Rose Consulting Group is seeking a Database Administrator (MQ Rep/Infosphere) to support our work with a federal client. This hybrid role involves managing DB2 database administration for development, test, and production environments, with a focus on data warehousing and reporting.

Responsibilities

• Be responsible for Infosphere Data Replication (IIDR) DB2 database administration for development, test, and production environments.
• Develop reporting queries and review database design changes.
• Troubleshoot database issues.

Requirements

• 7+ years experience with Database Administration (any platform).
• 5+ years or more experience in writing and tuning queries.
• Experience reviewing and implementing database design changes.

Nice-to-haves

• DB2 Experience
• Experience with Infosphere Data modeling, ETL Scripting
• ICAgile Certified Professional (ICP)
• Database performance tuning.
