AZAD Technology Partners is hiring an Oracle Database Administrator to become an integral contributor towards building and maintaining functioning database services for a high availability enterprise level environment. This individual will operate a production Oracle Database environment and provide recommendations for process improvements and technical solutions that can be integrated into existing environments surrounding performance, security operational efficiency and capacity. The role requires a proactive approach to database management, ensuring that the systems are optimized for performance and reliability while also being secure and efficient. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in database administration, particularly with Oracle databases. They will be responsible for monitoring and maintaining the database environment, performing regular backups, and ensuring data integrity. Additionally, the Oracle Database Administrator will be expected to troubleshoot and resolve database issues, implement security measures, and assist in capacity planning. The position also involves collaborating with other IT professionals to ensure that the database services align with the overall technology strategy of the organization. Candidates should possess a Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology or a closely related technical discipline, along with at least 5 years of work experience in Computer/Information Technology or a related field. A minimum of 5 years of DBA experience is required, including at least 3 years with Oracle 10g R2 or higher. The successful candidate will be knowledgeable in various Oracle technologies and tools, and will be expected to apply their skills to enhance the performance and security of the database systems.
