About the position

The Database Administrator Support role involves managing and troubleshooting SQL Server and MySQL databases, ensuring their performance, security, and integrity. The position requires extensive experience in database administration and a strong understanding of cloud services, particularly AWS. The primary focus is on resolving database issues, improving stability, and supporting deployments.

Responsibilities

• Perform initial investigation and troubleshooting of database and database system issues.
• Identify, address, and resolve repeating alert trends to improve stability and performance.
• Manage database objects and support deployments in AWS/Cloud Services.
• Ensure data backup, recovery, replication, security, and integrity.

Requirements

• Proven 10+ years of working experience as a Database Administrator for SQL Server and MySQL databases.
• Strong knowledge of data backup, recovery, replication, security, and integrity.
• Experience with AWS/Cloud Services, specifically EC2, RDS, and Aurora.
