The Database Administrator Team Lead will oversee the management of processes, technology, and staff within the functional area of casinos and business development. This role is pivotal in ensuring the security, integrity, and operational efficiency of the corporation's information systems and business applications. The Team Lead will be responsible for the day-to-day activities of the Database Administrators, providing operational support for existing properties, and ensuring that the team is effectively managed and mentored. In this position, the Team Lead will conduct regular stand-up meetings to manage workloads and facilitate communication among team members. They will also be tasked with researching, implementing, and operating all software and RDBMS systems relevant to their functional area. A key responsibility will be to develop, implement, document, and maintain all processes and policies for the functional area, demonstrating strong project management skills and serving as a technical advisor to executives and project managers regarding system and application design and architecture. The Team Lead will work to define and enhance IT policies and processes across all properties, ensuring the successful operation of the company's enterprise systems and services. They will participate in the management and deployment of RDBMS server environments, ensuring compliance with data retention policies and regulatory guidelines. This includes monitoring and responding to system outages, managing support calls in an on-call rotation, and working as part of a project team to deliver new business systems. The role also involves creating and articulating required reports for management and striving for standardization of methods and processes while maintaining a strong security posture across all properties.
