Responsibilities

• Ensure database systems are secure and operational in multi-cloud environments.
• Perform database administration tasks including backup, integrity verification, and optimization.
• Collaborate with organizational leadership and stakeholders to communicate technical information effectively.
• Utilize DevOps tools for automated testing and build processes.
• Develop and implement scripts for process automation in a rapid prototyping environment.
• Support multi-level systems and networks, ensuring high availability and performance.

Requirements

• 8+ years of related experience in database administration and system administration.
• Demonstrated experience with SQL Server, Oracle, ELK, and MySQL.
• Experience with CentOS, RHEL, and ESX operating systems.
• Proficiency in scripting and automation tools in a DevOps environment.
• Strong understanding of security protocols and practices in database management.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience with Python and AWS Lambda.
• Familiarity with service management tools like ServiceNow and JIRA.
• Ability to translate technical information into clear documentation for diverse audiences.
• Experience in Agile development and Project Management Framework (PMF).
