About the position

The Database Administrator will be responsible for managing and optimizing database systems, ensuring data integrity, security, and performance. This role involves installing and maintaining database servers, developing processes for database security, and creating reports and visualizations. The position requires a Master's degree in a relevant field and at least one year of experience in database administration.

Responsibilities

• Install and maintain the performance of database servers.
• Develop processes for optimizing database security.
• Manage database access and performance tuning of database systems.
• Install, upgrade, and manage database applications.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot database errors.
• Recommend and implement emerging database technologies.
• Create and manage database reports, visualizations, and dashboards.
• Audit and improve data collection processes.
• Create and maintain case tracking forms and compliance documentation.
• Assist in the development and installation of databases and database software.
• Develop and assist in the database design specifications with customer input.
• Document database objects, procedures, and standards.
• Develop and assist in developing naming conventions and data dictionaries.
• Manage PostgreSQL databases with a focus on data integrity, security, and performance.
• Use Redis for caching and real-time analytics.

Requirements

• Master's degree or foreign equivalent in Information Systems Engineering and Management, Computer Science, or Computer Information Systems.
• One year of experience as a Database Administrator.
