About The Position
Our client is seeking a dedicated and experienced Database Administrator to join their dynamic team. This role is integral to the design, implementation, and support of enterprise-standard databases based on business area requirements. The successful candidate will be responsible for identifying, defining, and implementing database backup/recovery and security strategies, as well as installing and supporting DBMS (Database Management Systems) software and tools. The successful candidate will also be responsible for creating and maintaining high performance, scalable, and stable database solutions. They will work with customers, deployment squads, and product management to identify and document use case scenarios. They will also design databases solutions that are highly available and meet disaster recovery requirements. This role requires a commitment to learning new database technologies as necessary and a dedication to delivering quality work on time.
