About The Position
The Database Administrator at Noveon Magnetics will play a crucial role in overseeing the maintenance and security of the company's databases. This position is essential for ensuring that all data is stored securely and efficiently, which is vital for the company's operations. The administrator will be responsible for monitoring and updating malware protection software in collaboration with the IT systems administrator to prevent potential security breaches. Additionally, the role involves ensuring that all hardware and software necessary for database maintenance are kept up to date. The Database Administrator will also be tasked with creating account data for authorized personnel to access databases, organizing and optimizing databases, and writing various scripts to audit and authenticate the data within the database. This position requires a proactive approach to suggest corrections to preserve data integrity and to work closely with the IT department, software developers, quality control engineers, and automation engineers to ensure that data is stored and retrieved efficiently. The role also includes extracting and loading data as needed while ethically handling private data, including customer and financial information.
