Responsibilities

• Manage and maintain cloud databases, including Amazon RDS and Azure Database.
• Design and implement database architecture and performance optimization strategies.
• Support the migration of databases to cloud environments, including data integration and maintenance.
• Implement and maintain secure database configurations in compliance with security standards.
• Collaborate with engineers and stakeholders to address database-related issues and requirements.
• Communicate technical information effectively to both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Analyze complex problems and develop innovative solutions in cloud environments.
• Engage in continuous learning to adapt to new technologies and best practices.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in a STEM field.
• 5-10 years of experience in database administration and cloud computing.
• Active Top Secret or TS/SCI clearance.
• DOD 8570 IAT Certification.
• Technical Certification in SQL or Oracle.

Nice-to-haves

• Familiarity with government and industry security standards such as NIST and FedRAMP.
• Experience with IT service management practices.
