About the position

We are seeking a Raiser's Edge Administrator to join our client in the Higher Education industry based in the San Fernando Valley, California. This temporary contract role involves working closely with the Director of Data Management and the Advancement Department to provide exceptional customer service and maintain constituent data in our databases.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain and update donor information in the database with a high degree of accuracy
  • Manage RSVP lists and seating charts for events
  • Generate and distribute pledge reminders, tribute cards, acknowledgement letters, receipts, and donor gift reports in a timely manner
  • Conduct prospect research and oversee rating and research meetings
  • Implement new gift processing and constituent management software and solutions
  • Build queries, exports, daily gift reports, and various reports and distribute appropriately
  • Oversee stewardship system for notifying key personnel of high-value gifts that require special attention
  • Collaborate with Registrars, Business Office, Admission and IT staff and provide integral information during the annual audit
  • Manage office supplies and facilitate scheduling for departmental calendars
  • Handle other duties and responsibilities, as assigned.

Requirements

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite including Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Outlook, Microsoft PowerPoint, and Microsoft Word
  • Experience with answering inbound and outbound calls in a professional manner
  • Strong customer service skills with the ability to manage inquiries and issues in a timely and efficient manner
  • Ability to perform data entry tasks with high level of accuracy and attention to detail
  • Experience in managing email correspondence, ensuring all communications are responded to in a timely and professional manner
  • Ability to schedule appointments, manage calendars, and coordinate meetings
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team and independently
  • Demonstrated problem-solving abilities
  • High level of discretion and confidentiality due to the sensitive nature of the information handled
  • Proven ability to adapt to new technologies and learn new systems quickly.
