Genesis10 is currently seeking a Database Engineer with our client in the financial industry located in Jacksonville, FL. This is a 12 + month contract position. The role involves learning the application functionality with a focus on vendor applications, understanding system flows and dependencies, and monitoring any file feeds that need to be alerted. The Database Engineer will be responsible for maintaining support documentation and documenting the incident engagement process. Additionally, the role includes handling Remedy incident and problem tickets, running incident triage calls, cross-training teammates, and supporting other Cards applications. This position is crucial for ensuring the smooth operation of database systems and vendor interactions, making it essential for the candidate to have a strong understanding of ITIL processes and vendor accountability.
