About the position

The Database Administrator at Alutiiq, LLC is responsible for providing support for data and reporting activities under the Navy's Anti-Terrorism Force Protection (ATFP) Ashore Program. This role involves administrative support services, coordination with internal and external stakeholders, and oversight of various database management tasks. The position requires a strong understanding of configuration management principles and the ability to analyze and maintain databases using Microsoft Access and Excel.

Responsibilities

  • Support and supervise documentation of configuration change management procedures as needed.
  • Responsible for tracking equipment and execution of process controls, ensuring compliance with process and data standards.
  • Direct, prioritize, and schedule audits; ensure corrective actions identified in audits are carried out.
  • Oversee activities related to the purchase or sale of equipment, materials, products, or services, ensuring cost estimates are accurate.
  • Maintain a basic understanding of NAVFAC AT/FP policies and procedures.
  • Analyze, maintain, and recommend changes to the contractor's databases and modules using Microsoft Access and Excel.
  • Procure and conduct assessment and approval of Asset Data submittals from ATFP Ashore Contractors to ensure accuracy and completeness.
  • Support the management and transfer of Government property during system changes.
  • Build and maintain reports for material spares analysis and operational requirements of each task order.
  • Create and update data for meeting agendas, Monthly status Reports, and Biweekly status reports.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, a technical field, or equivalent experience.
  • Minimum of four (4) years of experience in a related field.
  • Four (4) years experience on a U.S. Navy C4I Contract.
  • Active SECRET Security Clearance required.
  • Proven administrative experience.
  • Excellent time management skills and ability to multi-task and prioritize work.
  • Attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong organizational and planning skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Access and Excel.
