About the position

JST is seeking a Database Administrator to support the Joint Navigation Warfare Center (JNWC) contract at Kirtland AFB in Albuquerque, NM. This full-time role involves developing data processing protocols, analyzing database systems, and ensuring optimal database performance to support the Department of Defense's navigation warfare mission.

Responsibilities

• Develop protocols for data processing and handling in compliance with customer standards.
• Analyze database systems involved in the planning, designing, evaluating, and execution of JNWC functions.
• Monitor databases to ensure optimal storage and usability.

Requirements

• Current interim secret with a pathway to SCI.
• A bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Relevant certification such as IBM Certified Database Administrator - DB2, Microsoft SQL Server database certification, Oracle Certified Professional, MySQL Database Administrator, or industry equivalent.
• Experience with classified databases.
• Knowledge of DoD security regulations, policy and procedures.
• Relevant experience commensurate with the position level, with a minimum of three years.
• Good communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Strong attention to detail.
