About the position

GovCIO is seeking a remote Database Analyst III to support the USPS TESS project. This role involves evaluating, designing, implementing, and maintaining databases, as well as documenting processes and writing code for database access and modifications. The ideal candidate will leverage their experience and judgment to accomplish complex tasks and may lead the work of others.

Responsibilities

• Reviews, evaluates, designs, implements and maintains company database[s]
• Identifies data sources, constructs data decomposition diagrams, provides data flow diagrams and documents the process
• Writes codes for database access, modifications, and constructions including stored procedures
• Familiar with a variety of the field's concepts, practices, and procedures
• Relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals
• Performs a variety of complicated tasks
• May lead and direct the work of others

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree with 5 - 8 years of database analytics experience (or commensurate experience)
• Ability to maintain a public trust clearance
