About the position

GovCIO is seeking a Database Analyst III to join their team. This role involves reviewing, evaluating, designing, implementing, and maintaining company databases. The analyst will work remotely and is expected to have a strong understanding of database concepts and practices, contributing to the transformation of government IT services.

Responsibilities

• Reviews, evaluates, designs, implements and maintains company databases
• Identifies data sources and constructs data decomposition diagrams
• Provides data flow diagrams and documents the process
• Writes codes for database access, modifications, and constructions including stored procedures
• Relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals
• Performs a variety of complicated tasks
• May lead and direct the work of others

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree with 5 - 8 years of database analytics experience (or commensurate experience)
• Ability to maintain a public trust clearance
